About Us:
Insight News Television is entirely independent. Funding for productions comes from within the company, and its associate journalists or in co-production with respected broadcasters.

The challenge of Insight News Television is to make fascinating news features and documentaries out of vital issues all over the world.

Our Mission Statement:
Insight specialises in telling global stories from a local perspective. Whether through our reporters or the characters in our films, we aim to bring the audience closer to understanding new perspectives through firsthand accounts. Stories may:

* Reveal a way of life unknown to most viewers, such as Indonesia: The Whale Hunters

* Raise new and surprising perspectives on well-trodden subjects areas such as Bangladesh: Child Labour

* Raise awareness of the many issues of importance that fail to hit the headlines such as Slovenia: The Erased People

* Give a platform to voices that are not normally heard in the media, such as in the hugely successful Sorious Samura films.

Whatever the subject matter, Insight is interested in story ideas that bring with them a specialised local knowledge or access to the subjects and characters involved.

If you feel you or your story fits this brief, we would like to hear from you.

If you have a story idea, please contact our Head of Development, Therese Randall at insight@insightnewstv.com

If you are a reporter with an interest in working with us, please send your C.V. and cover letter to: insight@insightnewstv.com
