Martin Adler

Martin Adler Martin Adler died on Friday morning of 23rd June 2006 whilst covering a rally in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia. For many years Martin worked closely with us all here at Insight News Television and his death is a great loss to everyone who knew and loved him.

Martin Adler was a courageous journalist. He chose to risk his life on many occasions, often without the support of large broadcasting organisations. He did this because he believed he could make a difference by using his camera to tell the truth about injustice and inhumanity wherever he found it. He did make that difference and on behalf of all those people whose lives are the better because of Martin, may he rest in peace.
